The Foundation for Innovation and Technology Development — INTERA TP is a non-profit organization established in 2011 to foster economic development in the Herzegovina region. As a member of the European Enterprise Network and an operational digital innovation hub, INTERA plays a vital role in the regional innovation ecosystem.
INTERA provides business support across innovation, digitalization, and tech application, especially in the ICT sector. It has implemented over 60 development projects and offers services including startup incubation, coworking spaces (Code Hub Mostar), and tech education (e.g., CNC, digital marketing, 3D modeling). INTERA also manages a FabLab innovation lab and the HTEC center for advanced training.
INTERA has supported over 900 coworking members, developed 100+ startup teams, and conducted 300+ training sessions. With 9 staff members skilled in finance, project management, and business development, INTERA is well-positioned to continue advancing the digital economy in the Western Balkans.
Project Role
INTERA is responsible for organizing the Web3 Hackathon and Ideation Workshops, supporting university partners in developing collaborative projects. It also leads stakeholder engagement with non-academic entities — building bridges with industry, public institutions, and civil society to ensure the project's outputs reach and impact broader audiences.
